Today, I'm reading about "Hardening of a Heart"...

Spiritual hardening begins with self-sufficiency, security in one's self, and self-satisfaction. The real danger is that at some point, repeated resistance to God will yield an actual inability to respond, which the Bible describes as a hardened heart. Insensitivity indicates advanced hardening.

"To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge, But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them." Matthew 13:12

~ Refusing to listen causes hardening of heart. When people reject Jesus, their hardness of heart drives away any understanding they may have.

Hi, I found your site on a link exchange site..

I like this posting about a hardened heart. I had to be honest before the Lord a couple months ago when I contemplated why I keep sinning. And I ended up being upfront.. "Because I love my sin more than obeying you.." It was a hard thing to admit, but it was truth. I said "I am stiff necked just like Israel.. help me."

Then He answered.. a good good lesson. You can read about it on my blog here:

If you're interested in doing a link exchange, hit me up from my website. I'm always looking to network together for His glory.

In Him,
joseph
